Gumtree Farmstay offers accommodation on a 200 acre, working cattle and sheep farm, 5 km from Oamaru.
The rooms are located in the family home/homestay. Guests have access to shared bathroom facilities with free toiletries, plus a hairdryer for guests' use. There is a shared lounge at the property.
A daily continental breakfast is included, and chocolates and flowers are provided in your room upon arrival. Tea/coffee are available.
An afternoon farm tour is included with your stay. This is an opportunity to meet the pet sheep, alpaca, working dogs, cattle, goat, chickens, ducks and house cats at the property, and a chance to learn about what is happening on the farm. Sheep shearing demonstration and evening meals are also available for an additional charge, by prior arrangement.
