This magnificent 5-star manor house is surrounded by 840 acres of grounds along the River Maigue, where you can fish for trout. It is is home to a championship golf course and has free parking on site. As well as its hotel rooms, it offers accommodation in separate villas and apartments.
The self-catering 4-star apartments are within the resort and just 3 minutes' walk from the main manor house. Each cosy apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, microwave, and a dishwasher. The apartments also offer a TV, a seating area, and facilities for making tea and coffee.
Only 15 minutes' walk from the manor house, each spacious 5-star villa boasts a fully equipped kitchen with an American-style fridge. With a private reception room, the villas also offer a TV, luxury down pillows, a seating area, dining area, and a sun room.
All guests can enjoy breakfast in the golf club's restaurant, which is adjacent to the apartments and a 12-minute stroll from the villas. The manor house serves afternoon tea, light lunches, and evening fine-dining dinners, which are available only to residents. More casual dining can be enjoyed in the golf club.
There is a free shuttle service from the main gate to the hotel, and to and from the villas. Medieval ruins are dotted around the hotel grounds, and Shannon International Airport is 40-minute drive from the building. WiFi is available in the villas and apartments for an additional weekly charge per device.
