Spend the day swimming. boating or water-skiing at the Rouffiac Lake and leisure centre. Or perhaps the beautifully laid out French gardens of Hautefort chateau (20 mins) are more your style.Situated on the edge of the Perigord Vert. Le Verger is also well positioned for discovering France s truffle capital. Perigueux. as well as the famous Dordogne villages (Sarlat. Les Eyzies. Brantome. Beynac and La Roque Gageac are well within 70 kms).Don t miss the remarkable caves of Lascaux (30 mins).
