In winter Schladming is a popular and vibrant ski centre, while in summer the Schladming-Dachstein region is Styria’s best-known hiking area. Nestling between the Schladminger Tauern range with its 300 mountain lakes and the distinctive Dachstein Massif (2,996 metres), Schladming is also an ideal starting point for excursions to the city of Salzburg, to Admont Abbey (world’s largest monastic library) and to the Salzkammergut (a 1-hour drive in each case). Our new and spacious spa area offers rest and relaxation to body, mind and soul, featuring aroma steam baths, a Finnish sauna, a tepidarium, a herbal steam bath, a solarium and a whirl bath.
